Fowler Exile Ended

Fowler, once-former-Anfielder striker, is back to Liverpool. His anfield return might be the most shocking transfer in this season winter transfer window.

There are four strikers in Liverpool, but only Crouch is a regular first team player, Cisse and Morientes take turns to play; while Sinama is a big sub. Fowler's re-union might only be joining Cisse and Morientes to share the opportunity to play with Crouch. This might push either one to leave Anfield, especially Cisse who voiced his anger that he wanted regular place.

To Fowler, acting as a big name sub in Liverpool, which might not be the best option, is still betting than sitting on bench in Man City Stadium.

Italy in the Group of Death Again

Here comes the group draw for Euro 2008 Qualifiers.

Or you might check out the complete draw here.

Again, Italy was drawn into the group of death after their unlucky World Cup Tournament draw. They will meet France, Ukraine and Scotland to fight for two qualifying places in the group.

Germany's luck continues as they will play Rep of Ireland, Slovakia and Czech Republic. England's draw is not bad. Croatia and Russia are their major rivals; while Spain will face Sweden and Demark.

Holland avoided Czech Republic and is now in the same group with Bulgaria, Romania and Slovenia, who all don't look like to prevent them from qualifying.

Roberts' winner led Wigan to Carling Cup Final

Roberts' last minute goal booked a place of Carling Cup Final for Wigan. Roberts punished Senderos and Sol Campbell as they made the mistake which committed last game, which paving way for Beattie's goal.

Though Gunners won 2-1 in this game, they couldn't escaped from being dumped out.

Undoubtedly, Wigan want to meet Red Devils, as this would allow them to play UEFA Cup no matter how they perform in the coming game.

Double defeat at Stamford Bridge

Last week, Jose experienced a double defeat against his major rivals Arsenal and Man United.

Arsenal signed wonderkid Walcott, who claimed that he snubbed Jose to become the next Henry.

At the same time, Football365 gossip column told that "Chelsea may well be forced to cough up £10m to ManYoo after their alleged hijacking of the John Obi Mikel deal, according to the Daily Mail. A court in Norway last week upheld a FIFA ruling that fully recognised ManYoo's contract with Mikel, and the deal with Lyn Oslo that should have seen Mikel move to Old Trafford this month."

Chelski seldom loses in transfer market, especially against local rivals, but it happened today.
