Chelsea is no longer a Christmas tree

When I was young, football commentators always said Chelsea was a Christmas tree -- it's beautiful, but will decline after Christmas.

This was fact for a long period, but now every team can be a Christmas tree, but not Chelsea.

Under the packed Christmas fixtures, Chelsea's consistent performance out-raced all other teams in Premiership. Though Liverpool, Man United, Arsenal as well as Villa all kept unbeaten, but none of them got a straight victory for all 4 games.

The Christmas-New Year period looks like a mini-Premiership. Chelsea is obviously a superior team. Although Chelsea might drop some points during their UEFA Championship League quest, they should still be in a very comfortable position to lead the race all the way.
