沒錯，這星期輸得最慘的就是曼聯。經過兩輪的世界盃外圍賽之後，曼聯又添三名傷兵，包括加利利維尼、沙夏以及奧沙。 曼聯今季開季本已經多傷將。最初以為沙夏傷癒，曼聯可以開始重上軌道，誰不知他在法國作客法羅群島一仗，上陣八分鐘又再傷。不知這次他要休息多久。曼聯今季的四個前鋒，繼續只有阿倫史密夫可用。雖然基洛斯說曼聯的前鋒可媲美皇馬，但個個都傷了，再好也沒有用。 至於後防方面，加利利維尼與奧沙的傷最令費爵爺頭痛。曼聯的後防本已不穩，現在連奧沙與加利仔都不能上陣，真的買少見少。他們作客保頓時，只好對剛從阿根廷奧運大軍回來的軒斯委以重任。 當曼聯的球迷滿以為傷兵可漸少之時，一星期之內，又多三名主將加入倦勤的行列，曼聯要回勇，阻力真的不少。

中國與南韓在今晚的世界杯外圍賽亞洲區第一圈分組賽分別都在以寡敵眾的作客環境下，以一球勝出。南韓作客以2:1反勝主隊的越南。他們的車斗里在11分鐘已經紅牌被逐離場，而且更在50分鐘先落後一球，但最後連入兩球，以2:1反勝越南。 至於國家隊則作客馬來西亞，5分鐘便以10敵11。國家隊在70分鐘射入奠定勝局的一球。自入球之後，國家隊踢法更趨保守。雖然馬來西亞在技術與體能都不及國家隊，但因為國家隊不但欠進取心，就連控球在腳的時間也不多，所以主隊也爭取到一些危險的機會。 事實上中國隊在小組當中技術的確凌駕其餘三隊，出線是沒有問題的。問題只在可以勝出多少場出線。下場中國將於10月13日作客科威特，只要勝出的話，便可穩得小組首名。 而香港隊今晚則在主場以0:2敗在科威特腳下。 其他重要賽果如下： 土庫曼 0:0 沙特阿拉伯 印度 0:4 日本 也門 3:1 阿聯酋 寮國 1:6 卡達

一勝一和一負，對於換了教練和大事擴軍的利記可以說是強差人意！ 敗於保頓的一場，利記在前中後三線都有所變動，這些變動有基於傷病及戰術部署。後防的希比亞在早段傷出令後防欠缺重心領導。基維爾及紐尼斯的傷，令利記左右翼的攻力不足。在前鋒以走位鑽營的加西亞取代力量衝撞的施斯。 賓尼迪斯在華倫西亞時的戰術，是以單箭頭配合左右翼鋒在前場走位拉空敵人防線，再以中後場球員上前攻門。左右翼鋒在戰術中擔當極重要的位置，既要作個人突破射門亦要引開敵人令左右防線不平衡。而前鋒亦要經常走位配合左右翼鋒。 現在利記陣中，暫時只有基維爾能做到這戰術中的翼鋒位置。新加盟的紐尼斯級數暫未見到(會否是新維辛迪或安古魯？！)，而前鋒巴路士及加西亞相信都適合這戰術。 我相信在傷病球員相繼復出及陣中球員熟習新戰術後，利記的成績將會反彈！但要贏取聯賽冠軍則有待新維辛迪或安古魯的出現了！(另外施斯的角色相信只會是後備居多，

英格蘭本可以在首場世界杯外圍賽勝出，但他們的門神占士卻再一度發波瘟失守，令英格蘭失去寶貴的兩分。 占士這次的失守有可能令他失去國家隊正選的位置。雖然他近兩年都是必然正選，但總不能像他的前輩施文或施路頓般，給人穩健的感覺。相反，如這場賽事的失球發生在他身上似乎一點也不奇怪。 不過占士打正選這個局面有可能快被打破，因為羅賓遜在熱刺的表現，的確十分可人。事實上，他在列斯能趕走馬田，已經顯出了自己的功夫。今季過檔熱刺，他的反應的確十分好，令熱刺的後防似乎比前兩屆都要穩定。只要羅賓遜的表現穩定一點，占士不久便會淪為後備球員。 以後沒有其他人可揀，艾歷臣才要選占士，但現在有羅賓遜，占士壟斷的局面應可打破。英國似乎已經一段時間沒有好的門神，希望羅賓遜會是新希望吧。

要數今季開季賽程最難打的英超球隊，應該是升班馬諾域治吧。 除了首場出戰水晶宮之外，諾域治接下來的幾場都是接戰一二線的球隊，先是曼聯，再來紐卡素，還有阿仙奴，以及今季表現不俗的熱刺。 這樣的賽程，先不說要拿多少分數，單不球員不打殘也的確十分難。不過諾域治在奧脫福的表現絕不失禮，雖敗1:2，但沒有失隊形。偶爾還有一些入球機會。 至於作客到聖占士公園出戰紐卡素時，他們更發揮出自己的實力。雖在50分鐘已經落後0:2，但由52分鐘開始一直追，最後在聖占士公園由紐卡素的手中搶得寶貴的一分。事實上，這一分不單對諾域治來說十分寶貴，就是對紐卡素來說也是如珠如寶，因為他們在主場已經兩場接連失分，加上首場又是在最後階段被追平，卜比笠臣在賽和諾域治之後，應對球隊後防感到非常頭痛。 談回諾域治，他們下場將在自己主場迎戰氣勢如虹的阿仙奴。看球隊實力，阿仙奴佔了絕對性的優勢，無容置疑。不過若果諾域治將士用命

對於大部份的曼聯Fans來說，這絕對是一個好消息。事實上，在62場賽事只入了10球的科蘭，可能是費爵爺在這幾年內，最錯的收購。 在科蘭加盟曼聯之前，他已經被媒體追捧得很厲害。在他空降奧脫福之前，多數的英國媒體都說科蘭是「Highky Rated Young Player」。結果呢，他們說得沒錯，科蘭的確被人Highly Rated，但將沒有將這些Highly Rated的期望轉成他自己的成績。 他在奧脫福的日子，似乎完全不能隔入球隊。不單是傳送、走位完全做錯。就連一些基本的控球、盤扭得也表現得差。老實說，他每次出場，都難寄以厚望。 這次他傳投西班牙的維拉里爾，希望在一個語言說得通的地方，表現得好一點。至少，費格遜到時可以說：「科蘭的確有點本事，但在曼聯未發揮出來吧。」

米杜士堡上週在河畔球場，險些喪師三分盡失。幸而紐卡素的後防不生性，獲利回吐，在最後一分鐘失了一球，讓米杜追成2:2。 老實說，米杜是今季令人頗有期望的一支球隊。他們今季有機會參與歐洲賽事，所以他們也進行了擴軍。除了留住辛頓與文迪達之外，更收購了柏奴亞、哈索賓基、維杜卡及列斯卡。所收購的每個球員均具一定名氣。 誰不知，他們第一場面對紐卡素時，踢出來完全不像樣。他們的中場總是不能將球運上去，要靠最直接的長傳急攻。可惜收效不大。 他們若以這麼的狀態來面對第二場的隊手阿仙奴，恐怕輸多贏少。其實中場有文迪達與辛頓，加上前鋒的哈索賓基，控球能力應該不太差。面對阿仙奴時，若可先守住中場，保持到一定的控球，加上他們有一定實力的後防，在高貝利討回一分，也不是完全渺茫的事。

葡萄牙的黃金一代，繼雷哥斯達之後，費高亦決定退出國家隊。31歲的費高，在剛過去的歐洲國家盃明顯地已經沒有上一屆般耀眼。 不過隨著黃金一代退下，接下來的問題就是，黃金二代能否有力接棒呢？ 在剛過去的歐洲國家盃，部份黃金二代的球員也算表現出色。當中迪高與C.朗拿度便是最搶眼的人物。他們在費高與雷哥斯達未能發揮水準時，分別為國家隊製造不少機會。 談到好表現，我們當然不能不提文尼治。他在中場的動力，可能是全隊之冠，而且亦有很好的遠射技巧。 另一位新星就是維亞拿(Hugo Viana)。不過他在過去一季，於紐卡素未受重用，因此沒有機會入選葡萄牙的Euro 04大軍。今季回到國內聯賽，希望他可以表現出自己的身價吧。

記得筆者在兒時，暑期多是自己到球場踢球，沒有球賽可看，因為暑假要休息。不過近年可不同，球星們的「暑期習作」可比學生們的還要多。 以剛過去的暑期為例，聯賽休息不一會，便要開始歐洲國家盃、美洲國家盃及亞洲杯。這些比賽的激烈程度，可不比聯賽或杯盃輕。為國家效力完，又要回球會參加熱身賽。像曼聯那樣，球星們又要參加美國之旅，亦要應付四角邀請賽。 對球迷而言到底是好，還是壞呢？ 當然，暑假有賽事可看(或賭)，球迷當然歡迎。但就在這征戰連連之後，球員少不免會疲倦或受傷。最後當然就是影響他們的「正職」，聯賽、杯賽及歐洲賽。他們踢正式球賽之前，已經被弄至疲憊不堪，那裡還會有好表現呢。 科爾謝世的當時，不少人都說球員太辛苦，真的要讓他們休息休息，但這個暑期，他們的賽事比往年更密。若要計算甚麼廣告、宣傳在內，他們還那裡有時間休息呢？
